If you simply bolt an old-style converter to an LS engine without a spacer, you will have major problems after only a few miles of driving. In addition, and im not positive on this but maybe someone with an LS or a Tbird can measure it out, it's possible that you may be able to keep your regular power brakes as opposed to going manual or hydroboost like when swapping in a mod motor.

BUT.it does seem like a cool engine to me for a few reasons. Mainly the lack of aftermarket support and the lack of a good manual tranny (that I know of at least.although it did come with a 5-speed auto).
